After feedback from peers I realised the previous logo was too friendly, I still wanted to go with the fish theme so I designed a fish skellington. When I designed this I got more feedback straight away from someone new who didn’t know the brief, they said they couldn’t understand why there was a fish skellington, it’s not instantly obvious that fish die from peeing on the grounds, the other feedback I gained was that it doesn’t instantly represent a festival. This feedback has been really valuable and has made me realise I need to go back to the drawing board and re think my ideas.
After further thinking and discussion with peers I started to jot down all of the things you see a lot of at a festival, wellies, fun clothes, beer etc. I didn't want to illustrate your standard man peeing so I thought about just his leg, men and women wear wellies at festivals so I illustrated this. My idea to go forward was then a leg illustration pee coming from it and a unhappy flower showing how the pee is going to make the wildlife and the natural habit of the grounds unhappy and die.
After a brief sketch I then went onto illustrator and started to develop some vectors. Once the black vector worked I then started to add colour, the logo doesn’t necessarily need colour but I think it would be a nice touch if I am going to develop them further into a campaign.
