The making of the sets went a lot more smoothly than expected, we wanted the background of the sets to have a warm cream background so we used mount board to create this. The pasta machine cut the paper up into strips which was perfect for curling the paper using scissors to create a pasta look. We created the window for our second design but the vespa that we were borrowing hadn't arrived yet so it was difficult to know how big to make the window.
To create the GIF we just set up a tripod and turned the handle of the pasta machine to make the strips of paper come out. The difficulty we had was doing this with no movement within the pasta machine or bowl of pasta.
As we didn't know what size the vespa was going to be when it arrived we released we had made the window a little too big and everything was out of proportion. This probably could of got fixed with good photography and angles however we realised the two themes of the pasta matching and a moped didn't really complement each other other than it being the theme of Italy. We have decided to rethink this set and book another photoshoot.
