Cheese Society- Cheese Branding Development

The cheese society cheese branding will be bright like the poster designs and use the colour palate used through all cheese designs. Here are some mock up designs, I have got good feedback from  them however I think there might be too much pattern on them so I will experiment with just having a single line of spots around the cheese society logo. All of the colours are from the original cheese society branding and each colour represents a different cheese.

Cheese Society- Cheese Branding Research

To expand the cheese society I have always wanted to brand a cheese so for the final event I will brand some cheeses and I think this will be a nice edition to my portfolio. Above is some research to cheese branding, there is such a wide range of cheese branding from formal, commercial and children's snack box branding. I want to create quite a light hearted tone of voice to the cheese branding, something fun and informative about the type of cheese.

Cheese Society- The Cheese Ball Poster

Facebook Inforamtion:

It's the final event of the year and a goodbye to the presidents Hollie Webb and Aimee Parker and a big hello to the new presidents Emma Knowles and Megan Ojari! Come along to the cheese ball where you can party your panties off and eat so much cheese you will become a human cheese ball!

This is the final poster I will ever create for the Cheese Society, I want to make it eye catching bold and quite simple. I wanted to use the cheese ball I created for the leaflet and transfer it to a poster as when people pick up a leaflet they can automatically relate it to the poster. I experimented with a few poster variations before creating the final, at first I wanted the cheese ball to be more of a disco ball however after experimentation with this I think it looked more like a wrecking ball. I showed some people the poster design for feedback in the stages of it being quite white and they said they wanted to see more colour to make it more eye catching, after developing I went with a blue stripy background and the information at the top of the poster like the rest of the posters I have designed to keep it constant.

Cheese Society- The Cheese Ball Leaflet

The final event of the year is called ‘The Cheese Ball’ and will be held at the Belgrave Music Hall & Canteen in the city centre we have managed to hire the whole top floor so I need to promote this event well to get enough people to come eat cheese with us. As another form of promotion for this event I have created a flyer in the shape of a cheese ball and when printed it will be a cheese ball 10x the size. This is something light hearted I want students to pick up on their way into uni and then notice the posters around uni and come to the event.

Bootees- Online

Social media is an incredibly important part of any developing clothing brand showing people what your about through the use of various imagery. We have started up an Instagram and a Depop for Bootees to get people interested and aware of the brand. The Instagram includes various collages, product shots and screen printing shots to show consumers that they are hand made with care. We have had a lot of positive feedback from people o the Instagram and people from different countries wanting to buy the t-shirts.
Depop is an buying and selling clothing app that a lot of apparel ranges are on, we have set up a profile on Depop to sell the t-shirts and push the brand further.
We both would love Bootees to have its own website one day for customers to visit learn about the brand and browse all the items for sale.

Breathe- Instagram

Breathe has started its own Instagram to start a following and make people aware of the new lifestyle magazine on the market.

Time management throughout Extended Practice

I feel like I have managed my time well through extended practice it has been hard thinking about different briefs at once when they are all at stages however keeping a calendar and diary has really helped through the module. Making to-do lists is how I get through designing crossing each objective off through the day. Keeping a calendar makes me book print slots for when things need to be printed and stripping and emulsioning screens ready for exposure and print.
